ECCO still to find suitors

ECCO together with BMC were informed of the beef processing company's decision to halt the sponsorship in March this year. They were told to look for either sponsors or buyers who would take over the running of the two clubs as the company plans to completely pull out by the end of October. While BMC are said to have attracted the interest of a foreign investor, ECCO City Greens are still hitting a brick wall in their attempt to find a "messiah".
The club chairperson, Bothibedi Latlhang said no one has shown interest so far with just about four months remaining before BMC slams its door on the Francistown side."After the decision, we set up a committee that will try and find potential sponsors or buyers. We have met few but we have not been successful," Latlhang told Mmegi Sport. He expressed hope that they will eventually succeed, as they want to see team moved forward."I have to say that BMC have helped us a lot and take this opportunity to thank them for the support they have shown to us over the years," he said.
