Ecco see off Gunners

Extension Gunners felt the wrath of another Francistown side in two consecutive weekends as they suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of ECCO City Greens at the New Lobatse Stadium on Saturday evening.

A goal in each half by ECCO talisman Malepa 'Chippa' Bolelang and Patrick Lenyeletse were enough to seal victory for the Francistown side propelling it to the pole position on the log. The game lived up to its expectations with both teams dishing out excellent football. The visitors had the first chance at goal on the fifth minute when Bolelang took a long-range shot after Gunners' goalkeeper Raphael Nthwane miscalculated a pass and left his goal to attack the ball but missed it. The shot went inches over the bar missing an empty goal and sending shivers down the Mapantsula faithful who had come in large numbers to motivate their team.
