ECCO mentor bemoans poor home record

FRANCISTOWN: ECCO City Greens caretaker coach, Atshele Molapi believes that the club's players have performed dismally on home soil because they struggle to overcome pressure from the vibrant home crowd.

Molapi said this on Saturday after watching his troops settle for a 0-0 draw against an ordinary Mochudi Centre Chiefs.  ECCO failed to win the tie, despite creating numerous scoring opportunities on the day. That was the case with their recent past encounters at the Francistown Stadium where they either had to settle for a draw or win by an unconvincing margin.

Mamoja Diski, as ECCO are popularly known, played to a 1-1 draw against Great North Tigers (GNT), won 2-0 against Notwane before losing 3-1 to Mogoditshane Fighters in the league in front of the home crowd.
