FRANCISTOWN: ECCO City Greens have moved to adopt a simpler method of running the club in a bid to plug shortfalls from last season as the club resumes preparations for the new campaign.

The new model will see a general manager appointed to head an interim committee. It was the players’ idea and was endorsed by the club’s stakeholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held over the weekend.

 The new arrangement entrusts the general manager with the powers to elect four other members to work with, while the stakeholders elect two members to make a committee of seven.
