The team left yesterday afternoon for the September 22-30 tournament in Tangier, northern Morocco.  Kapeko feels the poor preparations would be their downfall. "We cannot promise heaven but we will go there and try our best," he told Mmegi Sport before departure. Kapeko said they only had two weeks to prepare and coaches were racing against time to get the players fit.

"I think most of the attention was on preparing the women's team for the All Africa Games (AAG); hence, the Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) gave us little attention," he said.
