Double Action target Zim players

BULAWAYO: Two Zimbabwean female soccer players are holding their breath as Double Action, one of Botswana's prominent women's soccer outfits, is considering signing them this week.

Rude Neshamba and Talent Mazetese, a striker and midfielder respectively currently playing for Zimbabwe's Inline Soccer Academy, have been on Double Action's radar for some time. The team's director Senki Sesinyi wrote to Inline Academy stating that he would like to sign on the players for six months and depending on their performance, he would extend their stay in Botswana.

Sesinyi told the press in Zimbabwe that he will be on a shopping spree that will also see him acquire a goal keeper. "We are interested in the services a goalkeeper and a striker. We have talked to Inline and our negotiations are at an advanced stage. We want to finalise the negotiations as soon as possible because we will be kicking off our season on January 12th , we would like to have them before then," he said.
