Double Action move closer to title

Women football powerhouse, Double Action, are on course to defend their national title after humiliating The Meat Girls of Lobatse 6-1 over the weekend.

The win saw Double Action maintain a six-point lead over second-placed Rollers who kept in touch with a 2-0 victory over Golden Girls. Double Action has 64 points to Rollers' 58.  As the log leaders were crushing The Meat Girls, third-placed Untouchables was involved in a 11-goal thriller against UB Kicks. Untouchables won the duel 7-4.

The game between fourth-placed Kanye Swallows and Prisons did not take place while bottom team Vicomates held The Big Sisters to a 0-0 draw.  Vicomates anchor the log with nine points while Big Sisters are in position 12 with 10 points. South East United and Real Touch played a 2-2 draw while Eastern Pirates beat Manana 3-1 to tie with fifth-placed Prisons on 39 points. Manana remain ninth with 26 points.
