Botswana Football Association (BFA) Chief Executive Officer, Kitso Kemoeng has said a new media policy, which requires journalists to direct enquiries to the secretariat and not the president or any board member, is meant to control communication.

“It is a control measure, a way of managing communication. 

The president’s attitude is that the CEO should be the spokesperson until a public relations unit is established.  This is for controls to ensure that there is communication discipline, which will be guided by our communication policy,” Kemoeng said.
