Dipsy, mogogi lift the Nedbank cup

Local boys, Mogogi Gabonamong and Dipsy Selolwane on Saturday lifted the Nedbank Trophy with Supersport United after clobbering Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 in the final.

It was Dipsy Selolwane's last game for Supersport. The Botswana hero, who recently announced he was retiring from international football at the end of Botswana's maiden appearance at the AFCON 2012 finals, will be off contract next month and questions are still hovering as to whether Supersport would give versatile player a contract extension.

Mogogi Gabonamong came on in the 74th minute to enjoy the fairy tale end with Supersport United which also did very well in the league race. SuperSport United coach, Gavin Hunt was full of praise for his charges after their stunning 2-0 Nedbank Cup final win over Tshwane neighbours, Mamelodi Sundowns, at Orlando Stadium on the weekend.
