Diphatsa teams start Mascom volleyball on a high

FRANCISTOWN: Both Diphatsa men and women sides started the Mascom Volleyball league with wins in all the games they played on Saturday here.

Diphatsa men started their campaign against  Magstimela and Serowe side Tanian, both which they brushed aside with ease. First on the menu was Magstimela which they beat  3-0. Diphatsa took  first set 25-19, following up with 25-6 in the second set and the third set 25-13 

Odirile Sibanbda, the outside attacker was the man of the match as he spiked hot balls that Magstimela were not able to block. With the help of the other outside striker, Aleck Engleton they were able to win both games. Against Serowe side, Tanian, Diphatsa men won  25-19, 25-12, 25-21.  Tanian played a good game to the amazement of spectators, giving the Francistown side a hard time. Sibanda with his trademark hot spikes was the difference.
