Diphatsa starts league on firm note

FRANCISTOWN: Volleyball giants, Diphatsa, have started the Mascom League on a firm note after weekend games in Selebi-Phikwe.

The Donga-based military side picked off where they left last season by winning all their weekend matches at the BDF Selebi-Phikwe Camp.

They walloped Mag Stimela of Mahalapye 3-1 in the first match before brushing aside Tainan from Serowe 3-0.Mag Stimela won their clash against Tainan 3-2 while Difofane of Francistown lost to hosts Spartans 3-0. In the only game in the women's league, Diphatsa beat Mag Stimela 3-2.
