Did Gunners give Moyo ultimatum?

Extension Gunners coach Maxwell 'Malume' Moyo has denied speculation that he was handed an ultimatum following his side's 2-1 loss to town rivals BMC on Sunday.

Following a meeting with Gunners officials after the BMC game, there were reports that the Zimbabwean had been told to deliver or face the exit. However, Moyo denies that he was given any warning.

"I have not been given any ultimatum unless they have told someone or maybe they are still to come to me. We had some discussions concerning the team and the game in question but it was usual team talk," Moyo told Mmegi Sport. Moyo, who ended the Peleng side's 19-year trophy drought when he won the Coca-Cola Cup last season, has won one game, drew two and lost twice. He said it was a concern that Gunners were struggling to reach form but that although the results were not impressive his team was playing good football.
