After staging a magnificent performance against Mochudi Centre Chiefs last Friday, Notwane tackle high-riding Extension Gunners in a be MOBILE Premier League clash in Molepolole on Sunday crippled by the absence of key players who are away on national duty. Notwane have agreed to release three young players, Kelebogile Mani, Kgaodi Odirile and Galagwe Moyana to represent the country in the COSAFA Under-20 tournament in South Africa despite being in the relegation zone.

If the performance of Toronto this season against the big guns is anything to go by, then spectators are likely to be treated to a thriller on Sunday. Notwane have managed to prove many people wrong against big teams this season holding Gaborone United (GU) and Chiefs to draws in games that many had not given them a chance. They waged a gallant fight against pace-setters Township Rollers before narrowly losing 3-2. Notwane find themselves in 14th position with only six points from nine games and still searching for their first win of the season. Gunners on the other hand have proved to be a tough nut to crack under Daniel Nare. The coach has transformed the club into a championship -chasing side. They staged a good comeback last Saturday against GU in Lobatse coming from a goal down to win 2-1. Gunners will be looking to close the gap between them and log leaders, Rollers who are also on a winning spree. Rollers enjoy a five-point cushion at the top.

In other Premier League matches, Police XI and BDF XI meet at Otse Stadium tonight at 7.30pm. Both sides are struggling to keep pace with the big guns. They have lost their last two games. GU will be looking for redemption when they face Jwaneng Comets at the UB Stadium tonight. Comets, however, have proved that they are not easy prey and might cause an upset. TAFIC and Uniao Flamengo Santos lock horns in Selebi-Phikwe tomorrow. Killer Giants and Nico United meet in Molepolole before Rollers take on Motlakase in a double header. BMC and Boteti would be involved in a survival battle in Lobatse.
