Deferred AGM causes disquiet in rugby

Failure to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the last two years has caused consternation within the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU).

The 2017 AGM could not proceed, as members did not form a quorum.  BRU has also failed to appoint a treasurer since the passing of Vincent Mashaya in April. The BRU constitution stipulates that the yearly meeting should be held in February. 

The current president, Lesedi Keekae was co-opted after the elected president, Dave Gilbert resigned.
