Dambe, Solotate pocket P25,000 each, as they win Mascom Phikwe marathon

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana duo of Unaswi Dambe and Onkemetse Solotate clinched P25,000 each after winning the men and women's category of the Mascom sponsored Phikwe Marathon on Saturday.

Dambe, a member of the BDF club, ran a time of 2:21:49 in the 42.2 kilometers. The second position went to Bashingili Ndabile with a time of 2:22:03 while Dickson Kibet from Kenya came 3rd with a time of 2:22:44.

Solotate won her 42.2 kilometers women category in a time of 3:18:30, followed by Keamogetse Rancholo with a time of 3:53:12. Tina Mekgwe came 3rd with a time of 3:57:17.
