FRANCISTOWN: Zebras goalkeeper, Kabelo Dambe has accused the Botswana Football Association (BFA) of failing to take care of players.

Dambe launched an attack on the association on social media this week.  “Yes people will never understand until they are also captured (it is not about what is happening inside the field of play but what is happening at the top, that talking about, they will make you be hated by our own people bone ba ja madi ka lona do care ka football yes and I will speak for my sisters and brothers, I won’t until those who are doing that stop this hatred greed…u can’t sacrifice the innocent just because of money (sic).”

Dambe told Mmegi Sport that most of the problems at the national team are due to welfare issues.  “Our problems at the national team do not have anything to do with what is happening on the field of play. Most of the challenges faced by players are welfare related. I do not want to mention names but some people do not consider players’ welfare at BFA,” he said.
