Cross-country event benefits from AT&T Monnakgotla

AT&T Monnakgotla travelling company has given P10,000 to sponsor the finals of the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) cross-country.

The event will be staged in Kanye on Sunday. It has been divided into four categories of junior men, senior men, and junior women and senior women.

Speaking at the hand over of the sponsorship yesterday, the manager of AT&T travel, Talita Monnakgotla said she always finds pleasure in sponsoring sport to keep young people away from mischief. She said though the BAA made the request at short notice, she felt compelled to help them. The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) vice chairperson Nomsa Mbere thanked the company for always financing sports even at a time of economic crisis. "Thank you very much for believing in sports," she said.
