Cricket team trains in Sri-Lanka

The national cricket team was expected to leave for Sri Lanka yesterday to prepare for the Division Six 2015 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for Singapore from August 29 to September 5.

One player from the Under-19 side, Karabo Motlhanka has been included in the team to gain experience. The team is expected to arrive in Sri Lanka this afternoon and play three warm-up matches with the Sri Lanka cricket board academy on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

From Sri Lanka, the team will proceed to Singapore on August 25 for the qualifiers featuring the hosts, Malaysia, Norway, Bahrain and Guernsey Islands.
