Cracks emerge in First Division North

FRANCISTOWN: Divisions are ripping apart the First Division North committee amid reports that there is tension between, on one side, the chairperson and his secretary and some committee members, on the other.

The divisions came to the fore when it took more than two hours for a weekend meeting to begin discussions on the agenda of the day. The meeting initially failed to form a quorum.

Chairperson Mpezeni Sambandawe and his secretary, Rapula Gaotlhobogwe were the only executive committee members who arrived on time while additional members Mengisto Chigala and Onalenna Dithakanyane arrived two hours late to rescue their leaders.
