Jwaneng Comets are not in a hurry to replace Oris Radipotsane who was recently appointed head coach at Palapye-based Premier League side, Motlakase Power Dynamos.

Comets' spokesperson, Njabulo Gilika told Mmegi Sport that getting a head coach is not a priority at the club right now. Comets has elevated Radipotsane's former assistant, Gazza Gabasiane to care-taker coach until a permanent replacement is found.

Gilika said a few people have shown interest in the vacant coaching post but management believes in Gabasiane's capabilities hence the decision to give him a chance. "Whether he will ultimately take over as head coach depends on how he handles the team in the coming weeks as we press for promotion. He has worked with Radipotsane and we believe that he understands where the team wants to go and how we have been planning to reach there," Gilika explained.
