Mogoditshane Fighters and visiting Jwaneng Comets drew 1-1 in a Debswana First Division South League match over the weekend. The two sides scored in the second half at Fighters’ Ground in Mogoditshane to share the spoils.

Knowledge Matshoba scored for Comets in the 56th minute, while substitute Mathata Sehunelo replied for Fighters in the 77th minute. Comets created the first chance in the 8th minute when Matshoba’s header missed the target.

They continued to press Fighters who had Onneile Ditshitlo to thank for averting danger.  Veteran midfielder, Abednico Powell tried to lift Fighters, hitting the side netting with a shot from outside the box in the 15th minute. The hosts seemed to have a problem inside Comets box where they frequently lost the ball easily.
