Comets eager to move off the basement

Bottom of the log Jwaneng Comets will be attempting to upset the odds when they take on hosts Masitaoka in a First Division South match in Jwaneng tomorrow.

Things have gone from bad to worse for the former Premier League team who had a rough season but have made perhaps their worst start in years. Comets are still to win a game four weeks into the new season in which they vowed to stamp their authority and return to the elite league. Although they are wounded, Comets should be wary of tricky Masitaoka who have accumulated four points from three games.

Top of the log Prisons XI might be riding the crest of the wave but they would not have it easy in Modipane when they take on Modipane United who after a scintillating start to their maiden season flopped badly losing two games in a row. The debutants believe it is time to halt their downward spiral and Prisons XI could come back to Gaborone with their dream of returning to top-flight football in some doubt. The Warders have started well registering three successive wins and are currently in high spirits, which makes the task difficult for the hosts.
