The battle lines for the Coca-Cola Cup semi-final have been drawn after the draw was held on Monday at the Gaborone Bus Rank. The draw pits defending champions, Notwane against BMC while upstarts Boteti Young Fighters take on national champions, ECCO City Greens on the weekend of August 25-26.

Notwane reached the semis after beating another Premier League side TASC 3-1 away in Francistown while BMC upstaged big-spending Kgatleng giants, Mochudi Centre Chiefs on Sunday in a penalty shootout. BMC spokesperson, Parks Buthiye told Mmegi Sport that they need time to prepare for the match. He said they expect the game to be much tougher than the ones they have already played. "I think the fact that Notwane have just won Kabelano Charity Cup have given them a morale boost but our morale is also high especially after defeating a good team (Chiefs). Malatsi a bare bitsa Matutsi a palo potana (These days they call us the minority tutsis)," he said. Buthiye praised Lobtrans Gunners and Township Rollers' supporters for giving them support in their game against Chiefs. He said that since they both come from Lobatse, it was good to see Gunners' supporters rallying behind them.

Notwane spokesperson James Mooki told Mmegi Sport that at this stage, it does not matter who they meet as all the teams that qualified for the semi- final are tough. He said that as defending champions, they should show people that they deserve to be where they are. He added that BMC is a very strong side.
