Coaches urged to be professional

Botswana Football Association (BFA) technical director, Phillimon Makhwengwe has advised coaches to take their jobs seriously if they want to be recognised by other people.

Makgwengwe told Mmegi Sport in an interview yesterday that he is aware that coaches are faced with challenges including lack of job security. He said that the BFA is not happy about the treatment that coaches are getting from clubs.

He said that despite that, coaches must deliver and if they do not deliver, they should tell BFA why they are failing.  He said the BFA is currently working on a code of ethics that will bind coaches to be professionals.
