Letlapeng technical director, Buttler Sello has said that their coach Matshidiso 'Chirwa' Moseki has over-reacted by staging a boycott. Sello said the management of the First Division side was in the process of fulfilling their promises to the coach yet he decided to down tools.

"We were in the process of giving him what we promised because according to the agreement, we were going to pay him some of the money during the second round which has just started," Sello said. He concurred with Moseki that only part of the money owed to him has been paid. He said they were going to pay the remaining balance after sorting out some pressing issues.

"There were other things which needed urgent attention and we used the little that we have to pay for them. We do not have a sponsor and we were hopeful that he (Moseki) would understand our situation and wait a little longer," Sello said.
