FRANCISTOWN: There is gloom and doom as beMOBILE Premiership clubs feel the full brunt of the impasse over the conclusion of the league season and are struggling to prepare for the new campaign, whose dates remain unknown.

Clubs, which rely heavily on the season’s grants, prize money and the mobilisation fund, are waiting in anticipation for beMOBILE to release funds.

The sponsor’s parent company, Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTCL) has promised to disburse the prize money once the final log is out. The league champions are still to be determined, which is weighing heavily on other clubs’ preparations.
