Premier League clubs are crying foul following the postponement of matches scheduled for this weekend. On Wednesday, Botswana Football Association (BFA) president David Fani released a statement saying that they have decided to adjourn the Premier League briefly to enable the competition's new sponsor to address logistical issues in preparation for the official launch of the sponsorship on a date to be advised soon.

The move came after the Premier League Committee (PLC) cut ties with the initial 'sponsor' Munhumutapa African Broadcasting Corporation (MABC).
