Former national team boxer Master Luza has denied reports that his Tsholofelo-UB Boxing Club engineered the vote of no confidence passed on three Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) officials over the weekend. He dismissed claims that Tsholofelo-UB mobilised other clubs to pass the no confidence vote that resulted in the entire BoBA executive committee resigning last Saturday.

Luza is coach of Tsholofelo-UB Boxing Club. He does not understand why his club is accused of masterminding the vote of no confidence. He said his club was aware that passing the motion might result in all members stepping down.

Former BoBA spokesperson Willough Kemoen had alleged that the Tsholofelo-UB was behind the vote of no confidence because it had a problem with the association giving a BDVC boxer Mmoloki Nogeng a waiver to take part in the Keone Mooka Mageu tournament though he did not qualify.
