Former Extension Gunners' flamboyant manager, Rashid Chopdat is back with the team. Chopdat is currently serving as the Gunners' acting president.

Chopdat, who is also a prominent businessman, was involved with the Gunners' management since the 80s.

Gunners lifted its major trophy in 1989 after winning the President's Day Cup, which was sponsored by Barclays Bank.  During this time, Chopdat also used to finance the team in order to recruit top quality players.
