Chobe clubs face suspension after no-show

BVF north league organiser, Bapoga Nshakazhogwe, said the Kasane-based clubs were scheduled to face Selebi-Phikwe giants, Spartans and Difofane. But they failed to pitch up and by yesterday, they had not offered any explanations. Nshakazhogwe said the clubs agreed before the league started that they would play all their games.

He said according to BVF rules and regulations, any team that fails to honour three league games in a season shall be disqualified and fined P500. Nshakazhogwe said he expects clubs to inform the committee in advance if they cannot honour fixtures. He said the organising committee will then review the reasons and decide on the way forward.
