Nico United coach, Elijah Chikwanda insists that contrary to critics' claims that his team would not last long in the be MOBILE Premier League title race, the team will sustain its chase.

"That is just talk, if it happened to this team before it does not mean it would happen now. People should know that the kind of players that we have here are as good as those at any of the competitors. We are not winning by mistake. We have good players and they are playing well as a team which is what is needed for any team to win," Chikwanda said.

He said that despite his team's 3-1 loss to BMC, his chances of making history were still good, insisting that his opponents would be making a grave mistake by reading too much into Sunday's game."We are still number two anyway so nothing has changed, we are not necessarily a bad team because we lost against BMC. Like any other team we want to win it.  Even teams at the bottom started the league with the aim to win the title.
