Title-chasing Mochudi Centre Chiefs confront Uniao Flamengo Santos in a crucial Mascom Premier League game at the National Stadium tonight. Chiefs face an uphill battle to catch up with log leaders, ECCO City Greens and will be under pressure to perform.

While ECCO are sitting comfortably at the top with 54 points from 24 games, Magosi are third with 41 points from 21 games. Chiefs must convincingly beat Santos and wish that ECCO City falter against troubled Lobtrans Gunners at the National Stadium tomorrow. But in Santos, Magosi face a tough side that proved their mettle by shocking them 3-1 in the first round. Since the defeat, things have changed in both camps and anything is possible.

Chiefs' coach Mike 'Dubula-Dubula' Sithole knows what awaits his side ahead of tonight's game. His first choice goalkeeper Noah Maposa is injured while top striker Jerome Ramatlhakwana has deserted the club. But Sithole believes that he has enough arsenal to put Chiefs' challenge for honours back on track. He said that they have not lost hope in the title race. "I've told the boys to remain focused and take each game as it comes. It is not going to be easy for us against Santos and I'm praying that the game would not be rough," said the Zambian tactician. When they were hammered 3-1 by Santos, Chiefs accused their opponents of dirty play. Referee Mmoloki Sebeela did not escape criticism either. Sithole pleaded with supporters to attend the game in large numbers, as it will serve as a motivating factor. Chiefs' striker Pontsho Moloi will lead the attack and seek to boost his charges of winning the Golden Boot Award. So far he has scored 11. Captain Noah 'Stooge' Kareng is expected to man the defence alongside Fred Pheko, Gobonyeone 'Shoes' Selefa and Boniface Makolo.
