MOLEPOLOLE: Mochudi Centre Chiefs remain top of the be MOBILE Premier League standings following a hard fought 2-0 victory over returnees FC Satmos at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Saturday night.

Second-half goals from Pontsho Moloi and Moemedi Moatlhaping sealed all the  points for the Kgatleng side over a resilient Satmos who went down fighting. Satmos managed to match Chiefs and contain their often marauding attack of Joel Mogorosi and Pontsho Moloi in the first half.  Goalkeepers on both sides had little to worry about with no threatening attacks in the opening half. Satmos new catch Tshepiso Kgosiemang capped a good performance against a team that gave him his first taste of elite soccer a few seasons ago. Moloi broke the ice eight minutes into the second-half finishing off a cross by Mogorosi that looked destined into the net. Referee Tirelo Mositwane however gave the goal to Moloi. Kekaetswe Moloi replaced Mogorosi midway through the half to partner Moatlhaping upfront, who .went on to score Chiefs' second goal in the 83rd minute connecting in a well-timed low drive from inside the box. He had two more chances in the dying minutes of the game but failed to convert both.
