Chiefs out to redeem dented pride

After crashing out of the title race, Mochudi Centre Chiefs seek to redeem their lost pride when they welcome defending champions, Police XI in a Mascom Premier League game at the National Stadium tomorrow.

Chiefs have been pathetic in their last two games losing 3-1 and 2-1 to Nico United and Gaborone United respectively. The two defeats ended their title dreams after one of the best runs by the club in the competition. The best that Kgatleng giants can hope for is a top four finish. But if they want to achieve this, they have to do better in their remaining six games, starting with Police XI tomorrow. Magosi have accumulated 44 points from 24 games and a win will bring back smiles to their hordes of supporters who have been reduced to a laughing stock after the title race setback.
