Mochudi Centre Chiefs beat Extension Gunners 2-0 on Friday night to maintain their unbeaten Mascom Premier League record intact.

Chiefs silenced Gunners with a goal in each half to collect maximum points and keep their title dreams alive. Striker Jerome 'JJ' Ramatlhakwana gave Magosi the lead in the 30th minute while Mpho 'Jomo' Mabogo hit the target in the second half to secure the game. From the start, both teams looked determined to find the back of the net. Gunners started well and threatened to take the lead on two occasions with brilliant moves but poor finishing let them down.

Othusitse 'Speto' Mahube was impressive for Gunners in midfield but the powerful striking partnership between Mabogo and Ramatlhakwana supported by Pontsho 'Piro' Moloi and Oteng Moalosi proved crucial for Chiefs. In the 22nd minute, Moloi wasted a good opportunity when he ballooned the ball over the bar after combining well with Moalosi and Ramatlhakwana.
