Chiefs Hand Nico First Defeat

Nico United surrendered their early lead of the be MOBILE Premier League when they saw their 100 percent start to the season shattered into smithereens at the hands of a turbo charged Mochudi Centre Chiefs at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Saturday night.

A brace from Sekana 'Nandos' Koko and one goal from Moemedi 'Jomo' Moatlhaping gave the former champions a 3-0 win over the Selebi-Phikwe side.Nico went into the match with their unbeaten run in three matches intact. But after a brave display which saw them restricting Chiefs to a slender lead for 70 minutes, Majombolo finally crumbled in the last 20 minutes.

It took Chiefs 25minutes to take the lead courtesy of Koko who struck sweetly from a Dirang Moloi cross.Moloi was given acres of space to dictate the game and that proved to be Nico's undoing the whole evening.
