Chiefs gets new coach

After a disappointing season, former champions, Mochudi Centre Chiefs has appointed respected Zambian, Wesley Mondo as their new coach.

Mondo replaces countryman Beston Chambeshi who has taken up a job at Power  Dynamos of Zambia. The new Chiefs' coach was previously in charge of top Zambian sides Zesco United, Lusaka Dynamos, Kabwe Warriors and ZANACO.

He has coached Kalulushi Modern Stars and Zambia Under-20 side. Mondo's job at Chiefs is his fifth in nine years. Mondo led the Zesco side that played Township Rollers in the Africa safari in 2006.
