Centre Chiefs (1) 3 (Joel Mogorosi 6, 54 pen, Sageby Sandaka 82)

Mochudi Centre Chiefs halted Township Rollers' six-match winning streak with a 3-2 win in a sold-out top of the table clash played at the University of Botswana Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The crucial win saw international Joel Mogorosi make a dream debut for Chiefs, scoring twice against Rollers, a club he captained just last month.

The winger made a shock and controversial switch from Rollers to Chiefs last month and when he entered the pitch on Saturday, he was booed by fans who idolised him just weeks ago. To make matters worse, he slipped on his first touch of the ball five seconds after kick-off with indications that he would be in for a rough afternoon. But he only took six minutes to drive a knife through the hearts of the hostile Rollers' fans with a cracker of a goal that stunned the capacity crowd. He beat Rollers' left-back Edwin Olerile with pace on the right before unleashing a powerful low drive with his out-step a few feet from the corner flag.
