BDF Cheetahs did not have a good campaign in the first round of the rugby league, but came back strongly in the second and are now in contention for a place in the Super League format.

Cheetahs are widely regarded as one of the strongest sides in the league with recent titles in 2007, 2008 and 2013.

The side proved their critics wrong as they started the second round of the league on a high note, beating cross town rivals, Gaborone Hogs 15-10 last weekend. The win was a motivation for the side as they are fighting to win the Super League.
