Chambeshi quits Chiefs a 'happy man'

Zambian coach, Beston 'Quicksilver' Chambeshi has declined to react to reports that he quit as coach of Mochudi Centre Chiefs because of differences with club officials.

He refused to comment on claims that things became difficult for him because club officials interfered too much in his work, especially in naming the line-up. "All I can say is that I had a fantastic relationship with the management. Even the players were marvellous but like the president of any country, you cannot be liked by everyone," he said with finality.

Inside sources say the Zambian tactician has decided that enough is enough and he can no longer bear the interference.
