Celtic still courting Maposa?

Just before Maposa signed for Bay United of South Africa from Mochudi Centre Chiefs at the end of August, there was confusion as to which club he would join as Celtic made a last minute effort to lure him to Bloemfontein. But he opted to stay with National First Division side, Bay United which had invited him for trials.

However, it has since emerged that Celtic have not given up on the goalkeeper. "When I left to join Bay United, we played pre-season friendly matches and Celtic officials watched a number of those games and they were impressed.
