Cats claw Doves in Netball League

BDF Cats clawed Flying Doves in a Spar Good For You League match in Gaborone on Saturday.

The Cats won the game 54-17. They started the game brightly converting their first centre pass and taking full control of the first quarter with Hilda Binang spearheading the attack. Cats were brimming with confidence, but their opponents would not let go easily.

The second quarter saw action swing from end to end although Doves were duly punished for their many mistakes.
Cats' Lemogang Moganetsi combined well with Goal Shooter, Binang, and each time they invaded Doves' half, they played some purposeful netball. They managed to score nine points in the second quarter while their opponents got three. Cats came out more invigorated in the second half and continued their dominance. As the game progressed, Doves began to make good build-ups but were unable to find a way back. The Cats' attack was equally dominant, with Moganetsi and Binang linking up delightfully throughout the quarter. The duo's precision in front of the goal-posts proved handy for the soldiers.
