Premier League giants, Township Rollers have secured a P200,000 sponsorship per year from Gaborone textile manufacturing company, Caratex. An elated Rollers' spokesman, Billy Loeto said the sponsorship takes effect in January and will last for a year with the option of renewal of up to five years.

He explained that they are still negotiating with Caratex to see how it can benefit from the sponsorship. "But we would like to wait until next year when everybody would be ready for football. Right now people are in a festive mood," he said.

Loeto said securing a new sponsorship shows that Rollers' officials are working hard though some people think otherwise because the team has not been doing well. He said the sponsorship is a sign of good things to come. Caratex exports its products to the United States under the African Growth and Opportunities Act (AGOA).
