When the season kicked off three weeks ago, Rollers displayed a performance which left their supporters asking for more. Mapalastina outplayed Extension Gunners before an impressive crowd at the Molepolole Stadium, winning 2-0 through Aubrey Kebonnetse and Onalethata Tshekiso goals. Last Saturday, Rollers travelled to Galaxy Stadium and blanked Jwaneng Comets 3-0. Kebonnetse was once again on target and if he keeps on banging in goals, he can be Mapalastina's main man this season. Those who watched Rollers playing in Jwaneng say thousands of supporters packed the Galaxy, some of whom have not attended the club's games in over a year. This is good and for Rollers to maintain the support, they have to keep on winning.
This week, Rollers' supporters have been boasting that their side is on the way to winning the title, five years after their last success. The mood at Rollers' practice ground has been buoyant with every supporter seeking to see what promises to be a championship-winning team in training.
