When Botswana Television (Btv) newsreader, Benson Phuthego picked holders Mochudi Centre Chiefs to face their hoodoo side, ECCO City Greens during the Coca-Cola Cup quarterfinal draw at the Gaborone Bus Rank on May 27, there were loud celebrations.

Since then, many football lovers have written the obituary of Chiefs. This is because Magosi have never had it easy against ECCO in the last four seasons especially in Francistown where they clash this weekend. ECCO recently humiliated Chiefs 3-0 in the be MOBILE Premier League in Francistown. But Chiefs has an opportunity to prove to sceptics that they can beat ECCO when they meet in Francistown in the eagerly-awaited encounter tomorrow.

The game promises to be a thriller and from the mood on the streets, it will attract thousands of football lovers. This week, one Notwane supporter in Gaborone told Mmegi Sport: "Ke batla go iponna ka matlho, ke ya Ghetto (I want to see for myself and I will be in Francistown)". Rollers supporter, Mookodi Seisa believes that Chiefs have a strong squad and they will only have themselves to blame if they lose to ECCO.
