Cameroon midfielder backs Hunda

Cameroonian midfielder Guy Landry Tchapet is backing newly appointed Police XI coach Clever Hunda to guide the team to a top eight finish.

Hunda has just joined Police XI to succeed fellow Zimbabwean Barry Daka after a successful stint at Uniao Flamengo Santos. "I have no doubt that the new coach (Hunda) will succeed at the club, as things are beginning to look good ever since he arrived," Tchapet told Mmegi Sport.

Hunda led Police XI to a 2-0 over Extension Gunners on Monday and Tchapet believes the result was the beginning of good times for the team. "Things are looking good with the new coach. He is very good and has brought discipline, which we didn't have before. We are disciplined and everyone is attending training. There is a sense of unity in the team and everyone is behind the coach," he said. Tchapet who has been a revelation since joining the club at the beginning of the season is upbeat that a top eight finish is possible.
