BVF close to clinching sponsorship

"Our negotiations with the potential sponsor are at an advanced stage and we are hopeful that we will clinch a deal very soon," BVF vice president in charge of technical affairs, Waboraro Mokgatla said yesterday.

He explained that though negotiations might be taking long, patience is necessary to reap the fruits of the sponsorship. Mokgatla said they can only start the league without a sponsor if BVF gets the green light from the affiliates. He said the delay in the kick-off will not deter players or make them rusty, as there are other activities to keep them in shape.
