Buoyant Semakwezi feels no pressure

Extension Gunners' new signing, Bernard Semakwezi says he had nothing to prove when he tormented his former team BDF XI last Saturday.

The lanky striker scored a memorable hat trick on his debut in Lobatse to sink BDF XI 3-1 and endear himself to Gunners' supporters who could not help but imitate his celebratory moves depicting the side mirrors of a Marcopolo bus. Semakwezi is affectionately known as 'Marcopolo'.

"I had nothing to prove to anyone. There was no vengeance against BDF XI because despite letting me go, they were the team that gave me my first break locally and it is a pity I could not do them any favours. That is how the game is played. All I told myself was that I need to play well because this was my first game and I prayed to God and I am happy by the way things turned out," he said.
