FRANCISTOWN: Buoyed by their 3-2 win against their more fancied opponents, Kutlwano, Diphatsa have vowed to surmount all obstacles in order to amass points and improve their position on the Mascom league log.

Diphatsa coach, Leabaneng George told Mmegi Sport he was excited to see his team winning their Saturday game against the granite-hard Kutlwano, labelling the encounter, his most difficult game ever."We lost the second set because we were facing the sun which it made it difficult for my players to play well as usual.  That is why Kutlwano managed to take the set with such a huge margin (28-5), " said George.

George said they have a backlog of games, which they are determined to win to improve their position on the log.On the other hand, a crestfallen Kutlwano coach, Isaac Samuel said he was not impressed with the referee's decisions. "I think they came prepared as to which team was going to win. It is disappointing for international referees to take sides when doing their job. I cannot blame Diphatsa; they played very well, " he said.Samuel said they were supposed to have won this game and losing has affected their position on the log. "We are wounded and we are going to make sure that we win all our remaining games, " Samuel sounded a warning. In other games, Kutlwano women beat Diphatsa 3-1 after giving them a hard time from the beginning. Tracy Chaba played strong spikes, with good service from Tebogo Sejewe and Alakanani Bayi.Other results were: Diphatsa 3, Kalavango 1 (men); Kalavango 3, Diphatsa 1 (women).
