The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) has postponed its Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Saturday because the affiliates were not notified in time.

The meeting will now be held on April 14. BSA spokesperson Tshekiso Mokgatle said there was confusion after changes were made to the association's constitution. These affected the period required to give notice before the AGM.

Mokgatle said the official responsible for announcing the meeting might not have been aware that there have been changes. So far, no one has shown interest in vying for the post of BSA president after the resignation of Marumo Morule. Mokgatle did not confirm nor deny if anybody has expressed interest in the post. He said the names of the contestants would be confirmed on March 15 at a press conference. Positions up for grabs are vice-president (competitions), vice president (legal), secretary general and treasurer.
